Goose Attacks High School Golfer

Geese don’t play nice. In fact they can be downright mean. Especially the one above. The attack by an irate goose on this high school golfer was expertly captured by Devon Pitts.

This is how the Blissfield Athletics Twitter feed explained the wild man vs nature encounter.
The golfers just finished teeing off and were walking down the fairway. To the left there was a goose nest and the golfers did a good job of avoiding it but the guard goose (hanging out on the far right thought differently.
It went on saying our downed friend is okay, save for “his pride.”
But, if you have a weapon–like say a golf club–you’ll have a better than fighting chance against the irate fowl. In fact if you stand up to them, they will back down rather quickly. Obviously, this student wasn’t prepared for battle and carrying a bag didn’t help his escape.
